The traction is impressive in the right circumstances. Notice you mostly see them shown off in wide open offroad parks or out west in the desert? No one actually uses them for wheeling in the woods. But mostly, impressive as it is, newer Range Rovers are designed to be insanely sure footed getting you up the ski resort, or out to your mountain cabin.I think this is a regional thing. Out west, ground clearance is everything, and angles are a close second place. All the tech in the world can't help you if you don't have enough ground clearance and angles to get over the rocks and sheer ridges found in trails out here. So much of the offroading out here looks like this pic I took years ago with a friend of mine.
