Re: Autotech 3-2-1 header hitting Autotech 22mm sway bar! Know of an easy fix? (GLiDriven)
>>Have you check the engine mounts lately, if it's leaking, it can cause the engine to sag and have the header hit the swaybar.<<
Yes, I forgot to mention that I purchased a Vibratechnics front engine mount. I thought that since it was so stiff, it'd limit the amount of engine swing, but it didn't work.
>>maby try bending them slightly if they wernt ceramic coated is say grind alittle off<<
I don't want to grind anything since both the header and the sway bar have nice finishes.
>>is your exhaust saggin at all? it's all tight? i'd check that.<<
The exhaust is a 2 months old Supersprint SS catback with a TT high flow cat. All of the hangers are new and they are not the problem right now.
>>what about fabbin up some kind of spacer for between the head and header...would require longer studs and another gasket...but would be able to push it out a lil farther...<<
Never thought about this. Maybe this would help since my tailpipes are just shy of protruding from underneath the bumper. Thanks for the tip.
