whats AWP? that's stamped in my owners manual, and rear hatch of my '02 GTI 1.8t.

it's the engine code for the 2002 1.8T's with 180hp.
(do a search on AWP and you'll find tonnes o' crap)

AWP = Engine code
If you do a seqrch you will find out lots of info on differences etc...
