Just looking for some more indepth info on my AWM motor... peoples experiences.. Mods.. etc.. how much horsepower. boost.. Whats up with the VCT? is that good

Horsepower (SAE Net): 170 @ 5900 RPM
Torque: 166 ft. lbs. @ 1950 RPM
ECU: Motronic ME7.1
DP Size: 50mm (1.97")

OE Boost: .6 Bar (8.7psi)
What is VVT?
VCT or Variable Cam Timing. Synonymous with Variable Valve Timing. The VCT in later 1.8T's is simply for emissions purposes. It has only two states - normal and massive overlap. The overlap is used to draw exhaust gasses back into the cylinders at startup.

As far as what?
Your not going to gain anything over a non VCT engine if thats what your asking. Its there for fuel economy.
Are you looking for wrist pin size?
Its just as capable as any other 1.8t out there. Unless theres something else your looking for?

yeah. i figured that much.. i have VCT already. thats why i was wondering about it. im going to start modding my engine. just looking into it. thankyou
