AWP engraved on engine block!

I just noticed that the AWP is actually engraved on the engine block on my '02 gti.. Sorry if this has been brought up earlier but I just saw that and it made me smile... no, no, I'm not a freak...http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

And I have AWD engraved on mine. That's how you tell which engine code you have. I suppose it also lets the VAG mechanic tell at a glance what motor he is dealing with.

looking at the engine it is on the left side at the top. might be halway covered by the engine cover.
