recaro SRD's are nice...theyre a happy median between race seats and casual stock seats....ive sat in them...VERY yum....im ordering these too...but not til the next year
Re: Ayone install Recaro's in their Corrado??? (vw4sport)

I picked them up on good old Ebay...I paid $910.00 plus 90 bucks shipping. They are used but in really great shape with no wear or signs of
damage. I have tried them in a Golf and the Recaro's are so nice. I think they will be lighter than stock as well. I will try callin ND tooo see on
some brackets and sliders. Sounds like the brackets cost almost as much as the seats...Ouch!

Do those seats allow entry to the rear seats (flip up) and recline? Do they have lumbar adjustment too?

Re: Ayone install Recaro's in their Corrado??? (vw4sport)

What are you guys using for seatbelts. I dont want to go to harnesses. Is there any way to retain the stock seat belts ???
Re: Ayone install Recaro's in their Corrado??? (sickvr666)

The Recaro's fold forward and have recline just like the factory seats. I am looking at the MoMo belts. Any opinions?
Re: Ayone install Recaro's in their Corrado??? (vr6performance)

I have Momo Nascar seats but looking for brackets for the Rado. Very light at 14 pounds a piece. As for Recaros I have them in my Jetta. Not the stock ones but aftermarket (L and LX). I love them and still have them after 10 years. Daily use on the Recaros though do take a toll like everything else. I will need to have them redone cuz the side bolsters are falling apart. I can almost feel the metal supports! Fabric is still together. No rips or anything on them. Very durable. The seats seemed to weight slightly less than stock. Not much though. The word "Recaro" on the seat is slowly unraveling little by little. I only paid $100 each for the brackets. $400 sounds a bit steep. But hey, it's all worth it! I love them. Back to the Momo seats, anybody know where I can get brackets?

you might have to get the stock bracket modified with new sliders to fit?? Im not sure but keep me posted..my Mom works for Momo's parent company so whn i buy from them i get stuff at cost....so im switching out my Jamex seats and simpson harness' for momo seats and harness'..I do like the Jamex seats though they are as comfortable as stock C seats and recline and adjust..they will be forsale this spring...
