Installing a B&M short shifter for my MKIV Jetta gls vr6. It seems like i need about a 1/8th to a 1/4th of an inch more movement to the left to get it into reverse. So right now im stuck. I basically dont have my reverse working when i properly install the parts. ANyone able to help me out with some suggestions on what i can do so i can "get" my reverse working again, and what suggestions do you have for what i have possibly done wrong.?

We have installed several of the B&M shift kits and did not have the same problems you are having. We did however have to modify one kit for a MKIII application but it had issues related to front to back travel. It is possible that the item could be defective or mismatched to your application. I would first contact the dealer you bought it from and then B&M if need be. 818-882-6422
