Hey i am looking for DYI on how to remove the ugly sun faded wax bleached side trim moldings any body know tips links feedback Please

I have a B4 so i don't know how the B3 molding is secured on your car, but...if it's on there with that double sided foam tape stuff you can just leave it out in the sun for a bit, or heat gun it and then run a piece of fishing line in a sawing motion under it. If it's in there with the little plastic rivets i don't know how to get it off without breaking those off which would leave holes in the body.

You can just pull it off, but a word of warning - If you're going for a 'clean / shaved' look, don't bother. The molding hides hidious looking protection rebar.

On the B3 the side moldings are attached with plastic clips.
Pulling will just break these.
You will have to remove the door cards and pop the clips
and push the modlings from the inside.

Yes I'm serious, and yes you can pull them off without breaking the clips if you're careful. Use a long bladed flat head screw driver to act as a pri-bar near each clip. The clips aren't that expensive though.
