Ok here's the deal I found this photo a while back before I found the Vortex. I think I found it on an Autoshow Website, anyway I just wanted to see if anyone knew who makes this Steering Wheel? Some parts dealer here in PR told me this was an ABT product but I don't think so. Anyone know? And yes this is a vehicle from Japan or China. That's why the driver is on the right. URL in case the photo doesn't work. http://img14.photobucket.com/a...4.jpg

Re: B4 Steering Wheel (tallicagolf)

All I know is that I have been in love with it ever since I first saw it. I mean don't get me wrong I like my OE steering wheel, but this one's really cool. Since it kinda keeps the stock look. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I like the stock wheel too, but that wheel looks great! Armani, you might want to talk to Cullen about finding some of these and puting together a group buy. If they are from China for the Santana (I think) then they might just be affordable

Good find, nice pic,
Abe

Re: (jbrams)

Actually this isn't from a Santana it is a B4. I have most of the owners pictures. Yeah maybe Cullen could get these. I just hope they aren't chinese made like those fake foglights being sold on Ebay. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
Here's more pictures of the car:

Ehhh...
I think its in my B4, and is stock.
Mine is quite worn out, as is the shift stick (or what's it called).
Both are leather and really mistreated by the previous owners.
I'll take some pics and put them down here somewhere next days.
Anyone know a pic of the stock wheel so i can see what we're talking about (as in the difference).

Hmm could be a euro thing. Anyone else from overseas care to chime in? And is anyone interested in selling it? Looks alot better than the one we got over here. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Don't much care for it over the stock...

Re: B4 Steering Wheel (jck667)

That wheel is hot. I'd take it over the stock in a second. BTW it does have an airbag (jck667), gotta read the fine print on the wheel. But geez i wish that tint was legal here, his car is sooooooo sick
. Did any of you automatic drivers notice the red stitched leather shifter in the interior pic? another nice touch..

My bad - can't see the pic very well. It sure does remind me of the wheel that was in my rental SEAT a few years back though.

That's not a shifter, that's a selector.

Re: B4 Steering Wheel (A2B4guy)

Well, here's my wheel.

You can see at what time i took the pic today.
You can also see what over a half a gallon of water behind the driver's seat does to the leather of the wheel and the leather of the shifter.
The previous owner noticed the stitching coming off and simply sprayglued the leather back.
It stays in place this way, but it looks like sh*t.

This water has been in there for at least a half a year before i found why the windows always fogged up.

I guess the previous owner left a window open on a rainy day or while washing it.
Since i found out this pool of water while vacuuming the car (luckily with a waterproof vacuum cleaner), i check the area regularly and no more evidence of fluids can be found.
So there is no leaking involved here.
I'll be cleaning the interior this weekend so the stuff you see on the carpet will be gone, and the black stuff wil look more black afterwards..

I wonder if that wheel would work in my B3? If so I would be interested in a group buy as well.
