Cool Doug!
If you go by the published 90hp numbers, that's only a little more than 8% loss through the drivetrain. Rule of thumb that I use is 10 - 15%. And that dyno curve only reinforces what my rear end tells me, that my car is happiest between 4000 and 4500 rpm!
I was out blasting around in mine (which is also black) yesterday. I took my son up to see a buddy of mine race RC cars. It's about and hour and a half ride on mostly 2 lane and 4 lane roads. Even w/ blown front shocks, the things still a blast to drive!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
And man, does the Hella grill and the 55/100 H4's put out some major light!!!! Good thing I put that 90amp alt. in there! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Now, just gotta add the 100w Hella 550's to the bumper! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
And I'm starting to get the itch to modify it!
I'm taking one of the extra intakes I've got and going to start porting it for the Audi 5k TB. I've got the dual port manifold w/ the cat-less TT system off the parts car, and I'm just trying to decide if I should put the G-grind or the Schrick 280 asym. in.
It's all good!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
