Did 3 pulls today and A/F was a little lean till 2500, then right on (13 or so) all the way out to 5K, then it got richer.
Pull 2 got richer sooner, and 3 sooner than that.
Due to heat they shop told me...anything else it could be? HP and torque dropped too...but very little.

Re: Back to back to back dyno runs and a heat question (20VsilvrGTI)

Yes but then the only accurate way to do runs is to use somethign to read the heat of the IC to make sur eyou start at the same temp everytime, or the runs wont' be accurate. The day I did hte 30+ pulls, I used ice water to cool down the intake manifold and IC to the same temp before each run. It was hte only way to accuratly get the runs in one day and have them be accuate.

Re: Back to back to back dyno runs and a heat question (Jman5000)

Chris ran 4 dynos in a row on my car and let the fan blow on it at idle for 5-10 minutes between, and checked the manifold and IC temps with an infrared gun. My pulls were all within 1 hp/1ft-lb of each other.

Re: Back to back to back dyno runs and a heat question (AxeAngel)

Wideband a/f.
There was a tall circular fan blowing on the front, and a small one on the IC.
They misted the IC between runs 1/2.
So more ideal conditions would be to run, wait 5 min (mist IC), and then go again?
