Bad injectors = rich/lean mixture mess

I had stated in an earlier post I had found 3 bad injectors on my new project car, this motor has 84k miles on it. This was the problem and how the previous owner / vw dealer had tried to solve it: Note: courtesy of the previous owners bank account the engine has had the works ie.. new coil, cap, rotor, plug wires, intake rubber boots, fuel pressure tests and etc. The dealers exhaust gas analyzer was showing rich at idle and the mechanic was leaning it out to compensate, the problem was above idle the engine was running way lean and they just left it that way. The injectors with there crapy spray patterns and lack of anatomization was causing this problem. I installed a new set of injectors and put my milliamp meter on the DPR and as I expected the engine was now lean at idle (bouncing off of 6 milliamps). I set it up to bounce off 3 milliamps and guess what ? the engine got all its power back and smoothed out. By the way the new Bosch injectors I purchased have been redesigned, the end of the needle looks wider and it's not recessed as deep into the shield, looks like these should atomizes better then the originals.

I bought a set of 4 from: http://www.germanautoparts.com for $152.00
the parts bin also has them listed for around the same price. These came with new seals.
