[PTM]

I recently purchased a 84 GTI. It has a bad vibration at idle. But the vibration
goes away when the clutch pedal is pressed. First I thought it just needs motor
mounts but it sounds more like it could be in the clutch or transmission. What
do you guys think?

It can't be a motor mount, it's could only be a clutch, trans or crankshaft in theory if the vibration really does stop.
