Bare block v. full block for conversion

What is the difference? Im planning on dropping a ABA block in my car (keeping my Digi One head) and I was wondering what people typically consider the difference to be. i.e. what parts a full block comes with that a bare block doesnt.
Thanks

Short block= Block and head only, no accessories attached. Must swap over old accessories.
Long block= Block and head, manifolds, accessories with brackets, dizzy or coilpack, wiring loom, pan and valve cover. Pretty much an engine ready to drop-in.

A bare block has nothing in it.

Ok, well specifically, I need to know what I need on the block (if my pumps and accesories will bolt on) except the normal stuff like headgaskets, crankshaft seals and other wear parts like that. Im going to be throwing an ABA block under my current Digi One head and I think I will strip out A/C in the process. (so Ill need a no-A/C bracket of course...).

Everything from your digi set-up should bolt right up. The only thing you might not get on a bare block that you need is the distributor and the oil filter mount. You need to put the ABA distributor gear on your digi distributor. You might also want the ABA timing belt covers.

Short block is block with crank, rods and pistons in it, no head. Long block is with head, no accessories. Complete engine is long block with accessories.

Standard terms are long block and short block. Long block is block, bottom end and cylinder head, short block is block and bottom end only. I would imagine bare block is a block only, but maybe another term for short block which includes bottom end. Full block for conversion would be the full meal deal-everything. I have a complete X-flow ABA for sale, computer, harness, everything if you are interested.................
