Ok so my alternator was bad, i had it tested. So i installed a new one and it seems to be working fine, pumping out 14.5 volts. But at my battery im only reading 12.4 volts. At the starter im also seeing 14.5 volts when the car is running. What could this be??? bad gorunds???

Dosen't sound right. Maybe you didn't measure them correctly.
