Got the dates wrong in the first poll...
This poll is to find out the best date to hold a get together for all Passats in the Lower mainland area of BC.
Please select the date witch best accomidates your schedule.

I just moved from Seattle a few months ago! VC would have been a fun trip to go see some Passats!

Actually I was thinking about this the other day. It seems like we're being kinda selfish, but there are Passat owners who live on the island/sunshine coast. It would also be inconvenient for these people to make it to the lower mainland, but with enough notice it is possible. Maybe we could have a meet in Kelowna in the summer, when it's actually worth going up there for everyone (I don't think we're planning on a passat ski trip!). So it seems that somewhere in the GVA is most convenient for alot of people. And didn't you know Toronto was the only city in Canada?

like i already said, i might be going to Australia. so, the sooner the better.
we should also us this thread to brainstorm some ideas on where to do this.

One thing to consider as well are if there's anyone in Wahington state that's close enough that would like to join. One problem with going a more eastward for this GTG are the lack of locations. If this were summer time, then hell yeah-I'm ALL OVER doing this in Kelowna.! I know it's a pain the ass for you guys from the Interior, but it I hope you guys can make it if the GTG happens down here in the Lowermainland. Don't worry, I'll find a way for us to do it again this summer in Kelowna

Yeah I'm totally down for a cruise/gtg in Kelowna this summer. I think white rock or stanley park is good. It seems as though Mud wants this to happen on the 16th is that right MUD? If so, maybe we should shoot for that if nobody has any objections.

Deas island is a good spot, I work 2 minutes away. But I won't be around on the 16th

It's got a nice little curvey section to the access road to the picnic area, good to open it up briefly, just look out for water at high tide.
Kelowna sounds like a good consolation prize for us who can't make it and whose cars are separated into lots of little (mostly broken) pieces.
