According to 4CAR, this is the Beetle S that's going on sale in the Spring. Essentially, it's got 180-hp and a six-speed manual, along with the new body modifications.

Wouldn't that be sweet!
I think the bugs exhaust is too restrictive to get the whole 225 out of the K04... I think it would be around 200.
Just like it can't get the full 196/240 out of the chip like the 1.8T can in a Jetta/Golf with it's less restrictive exhaust.

indeed....but hey....we all replace our factory wheels anyway...
i like the new lights, and the 6 speed is nice too, any suspension modifications?

Thats the same motor as my Skoda Octavia has , only without the 6 speed box. Actually I dont think you need a 6 spd with that motor , seems perfectly ok with the 5 speed box!! Its a nice looking bug tho , i like the extra lights on the front ...am I the only one who likes those wheels???
