Well, im spending the week replacing my piston rings, when i find this

as u can see, the tensioner is cracked, and the bolt hole is broken off

so now i guess im doing chains.. its really cutting into my budget for the project, so who has the best deal for a chain kit?

Re: Best deal? (ACschnitzer23)

Sadly enough the timing chains will usually be replaced twice for every set of rings. You will want to replace all of the tensioners and guides with both chains. There are also some modified bolts for the guides that you want to use. It does cut into the budget but you would not want the timing chains to slip and destroy all of the other work you have done.

Re: (ricardo)

Give us a call if you need the timing chain kit. If you add more VR6 goodies to it, we'll even sweeten the deal even more.
It's all in stock, too! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
