whats the best? i dont want to spend more than 500... i heard just go high flow cat.. high flow muffler and let like midas do the rest .. stainless steel.. or should i pay for like a "TT" i mean a lot of people have them.. they must be good? what about remus.. supersprint? what tips make different sounds? etc.. i need info

IMHO, Stock... and a driver adjustable bypass valve with straight out pipes for Honduh encounters (scare them to death)

Almost 90% of the posts I've read recommend TT or Techtonics...runs about $300, but well worth it. I have one on my red beater C, but I don't have a supercharger in it, but it seems to work well!
Any thoughts vortexers?

i just put in a Autotech stainless steel cat back exhaust inta my g60. I had ta replace tha exhaust because tha stock had a whole in it and was leaking inside tha car. I love it, but i also don't really have anything ta compare it to except tha stock exhaust.
stainless steel will run you around 500, and i think tha aluminum version is somewhere around 300...
anyone know how much horsepower a cat back exhaust adds?

New Dimensions sells good ones, don't know what brand, but it comes with a Gillet mid pipe...

I have the TT cat back system, and I have gotten several great remarks on its sound. Sound is much different than that of a dork, lower pitch manly sound.....but if you do get teh TT get a dual tip DTM tip for it, I've seen them on the TT system and it looks awsome. I wished I would have waited and gotten those tips, I did not for money reasons, I am frugal....yeah thats the word; frugal!

Best you'll see out of a stock car with a TT exhaust is maybe 4 or 5 hp.
VW got it right when it came to the C exhaust, not much room for improvement...

I looked lomg and hard for which exhaust to order for my G60 and recently settled on the TT SS cat back. It should be here this week. I got it from Velocity they are on sale $360 for stainless, cant beat that. If you dont mind spending the money look at miltek they are sweet pipes. good luck making up your mind
