My vote is polishing headlights. Kits are 30$ at most, and it's absolutely transforms a vehicle. Is there anything that makes such a quantum difference for such a low price?

If you've got a turbo car (like an MK7), APR stage 1 is ~$500 (sometimes less IIRC) and gets you ~100 extra HP.

If your car comes with halogen projector lenses, throw some LEDs in. Make sure the headlights are adjusted well of course.

Not sure how cheap it was to downgrade that 7th gen Accord from an EX-L to a base LX, and furthermore have it resprayed.

In following order for the car.

0) Engine oil (I go have it changed and bring my liqui moly for them to use, most don't have it). I pay for the service alone which often is not discount but I hate a rough idle.

1) Fuel filter (used cars never have this done).

2) Coil packs and spark plugs (if still not happy)

Then for myself:

0) Cabin filter, I've found filters basically at compost stage...

1) Performance 3 peak tires, I like driving the countryside mountains.

2) Silicon (PIAA) windshield wipers.
