the DIY that has the power wire going through a grommet in the firewall is perfect IMO on the inside of the car the wire pokes through a few inches above the dead petal and from the u can just run the wire down the driver's side of the car

i suppose it wouldnt hurt but i dont think its necessary when using those types of RCAs because i pretty sure the speaker wires would pick up much engine noise but the again maybe im wrong
