Re: best rabbit carpet kit (Grunchen)

I'm interested as well ! I would like to hear about a carpet that someone either already owns or has seen. I don't care about the price I just want a perfect back carpet so if anyone has any info it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dustin

Re: best rabbit carpet kit (Dustin_Malstrom)

i got mine from platinumeuroparts.com.....they get their carpet from TMI. it is a good kit, perfect color and almost exactly like factory quality. i do wish it was one piece though. i think i remember seeing that 1aauto's kit was one piece, but i dont remember. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I havnt bought one yet but this is the link some other guy posted saying it was the cheapest around (as in price) http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

That person was me.
It's a one-piece moulded kit. Trimming will be required when I install it as will cutting out the holes for the seat rails/support, e-brake, etc.
Overall I'd say it's a good kit.

Re: best rabbit carpet kit (4Rings)

I 'accidentaly' bought the TMI kit then returned it the same day- it was in multiple pieces! Having just scraped all the tar and glue out of my Rabbit I was in no mood to put more glue in there... Just make sure you get a good description before you buy!
BTW I think Rocky Mountain Motorworks just started carrying molded carpet...
