Please Help: Best Starter for A2 16V?

I've just had the best buzz kill of the year, I finished my swap (2.0L 16V w/1.8 head and A3 tranny) and the damn starter is frozen, soooo:
Which is the best starter for me to look for? Diesel, ABA, Passat?? Or does it really matter? I want to get one of these ASAP. Thanks!!

I like the gear reduction starter from the 91/92 16v cars.It'll crank over nearly anything,plus it sounds real cool too. Might find the same starter on a3 manual trans cars,can't remember.....
