I am doing the relays upgrade in my car and I am using this website for instruction http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/relays/relays.html . So my question is, when the wire that get out of number 87 on the relay to power the lights at some point it need to be split, but what's the best way to do it so no corrosion will start in this area? thx

sure, this is what I do when I do a simple connection, but when spliting the wire so that it can go in two direction (left and right headlight) what's the best to do????

That's how I do it, or use the self vulcanizing electrical tape (expensive small roll from radio shack).
I use 2 pieces of wire, one connection.
A long piece for the "split" and the wire for the relay. On the long wire, at the middle or so, remove the insulation with a cigarette lighter and your fingers (wear gloves if you need to). Solder the relay wire to it...and wrap using the tape and/or tubing.
That's my suggestion...which may be the totally opposite route others may think of, or the one you'll end up doing.

The relay you use should have dual 87 terminals; one for the left, one for right. No need to split the wire.

I've always used an appropriately sized spade connector to be able to split both wires right at the relay. Always seemed cleaner or neater than trying to split it downstream somewhere.
