Bi-Xenon Tilt Control

The Euro Passats with Bi-Xenon's that have manual static (compensation for heavy loads) leveling control via a split dimmer/tilt knob. Do they also have active (acceleration and deceleration) leveling? If so, is the sensing done external to the headlight module or is it done locally within the light module.

Passats (and cars in general) with factory HIDs have auto leveling. There are level sensors on both front and rear axle.
