Keep the front wheels off of the ground when it is first started and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times and this will bleed the system. It is a self-bleeding system and by turning the wheel from lock to lock with the wheels in the air you will push all of the air out of the system without loading anything and causing damage. Make sure to use the proper hydraulic fluid in the system, no ATF.
