Blinkies stopped blinking. [meek voice] help. [/meek voice]

Driving home tonite, hit the turn-signal switch, the light in the dash said 'wink' real fast and dim, and didn't blink like it should. Further testing showed that the blinkers come on, they just don't blink.
Would this be the blinkie relay? Has it shuffled off it's mortal coil? And is it a dealer part, or should I be able to pick it up at Checker/Auto Zone?

The VW one is best with the best most positive click, but you can use a lesser one. I tend to acquire used ones.

Oh, and what is the general location of this blinkie realy? Under the dash, right?

sounds like a fuel delivery problem. do you have a lot of turbo lag? maybe you don't have enough backpressure. try upgrading to carbon fiber blinkers for better performance.

Yes under the dash.
Do your hazards blink?
I have found if a wire comes loose on the back of the hazard switch I get the same results as you are describing.
