The BMW 745 pitted against the Mercedes S500:
Can the 7 series with it's futuristic interior and it's technological advances over the S-Class Mercedes take the crown of automobiles?

Basically they liked the 7 for it's driving dynamics and it's suspention. When you drive it, you know that it's a BMW.
While the S class is not any more the victor, it's functionality, comfort, and saftey is still always part of the picture. Unfortunatley it's engine gets poor economy and less HP in addition to it's price is simply too high.

As Dr. Piech said, A8 it's intended to compete against BMW 7 Series, and VW D1 against Mercedes S class.

No doubt that will be interesting, when the A8 arrives.
I think this will be Audi's shot at the crown. From everything I have read, the Audi could be the victor.

Bah! I don't like the Google translator. German uses a different word order than English, and it's annoying to read when it's Googleized.

With all the rave reviews of both generations of A4 and A6, the next A8 should no longer be as underrated as the current model. If everything goes as well as we expected, new A8 could be the new benchmark of that segment in terms of performance and quality.
