BMW presents Coupé with the special "clubsport" package. It will be available for all Coupe versions with I6 engines. Aerodynamic package includes lateral skirts, front spoiler in black plastic as well as at a tail spoiler on the trunk hood. Light alloy wheels in the v-spoke-Design with different types of tires (in front 8J x 18, tire 225/40 R 18, in the back 8.5 J x 18, tire 255/35 R 18). Acoustic package and chrom exhaust pipes underline the dynamic Outfit. Inside you get sport seats with M texture, M sport leather steering wheel, Shortened shift lever with M emblem, chrome rings around the instruments as well as door entry borders with the club port signature. Price for all this is 4950 euro.[HR][/HR]

Well almost the right idea. You get a 40k 330ci then add another 5k for apperance. Humm! Maybe they should have dropped oh say 300 pds from the car and gave it another 20 ponnies then called it a club-sport!

Its nothing more than a "sport appearance package". Give me the M Technik package instead.

I would rather spent the extra on a nice set of BBS 2/3 pieces wheels, IMHO.

Although the car looks nice, I'd hate to be the fool who owns it when a real M3 pulls up next to him at the stop light and smokes him... or worse, a Honda S2000 smokes him (or her)

Or atleast 500 other cars.

what's your point ?
As for the topic itself, not every single package/modification that the company offers it's public has to be sport oriantated (and we all know that BMW has quite a few REAL sporty options on the road). Though the use of "Club Sport" name is questionable, it can easily imply a sporty-look package.

The article says, that it´s only available with six cylinders, so that´s at least a 320Ci.

The cheap black door handles of 318Ci would look out of place with this "appearance" package.
