Body work suggestions...
My GTX is all stripped down and sitting at the body shop this very minute.. I'm just wondering while it's there what all I should get him to do... SO far I got him to fill in the holes on the front fenders where those stupid square badges were... and the factory antenna hole on the left fender(even though it's got a roof antenna, stupid), and he's filling the little holes along the back of the car where the GTX 16v badges were, I might stick just the 16v badge back on.
Is there anything else that would look good I should get done before it's too late?
maybe a shark finn on the roof?

Mmmm.... I had a mono wiper on the rocco and it was sort of annoying.. didn't really cover the whole window and it was a pain in winter.. But it did LOOK nice

As for removing side markers... I like the thought of that but is it legal?

You should decide whether you want all that plastic trim on the side. I have seen some de-trimmed Jettas and they look nice. If I could make my own Jetta I would probably take ALL the plastic trim off and get small bumpers

Or get the middle hole filled.. and get it re drilled at the passenger corner.. then you could have caravan style wipers.. that would be slick

Okay then smarty pants.. how bout getting the wiper holes filled, and getting a hole put in on the TOP!!!
Or get the middle hole filled.. and get it re drilled at the passenger corner.. then you could have caravan style wipers.. that would be slick

OR better yet I could remove the wipers all together and get those peel off lens strips the motorcross guys use on their goggles...

One other thing I was thinking about is losing that stupid leather hood deflector and get an eyebrow instead.. that would be sleeek.
