Will you see a drop in boost pressure if you increase displacement? what about with a pnp'd head?
for reference displacement increase is 1.8 to 1.9
thanks

with a blower, if you change the displacement, boost will change too. cause the belt drives the blower at a constant pace.
on a turbo no. the extra displacement will give a stronger exhaust pulse, thus filling the intake to the same level.

Re: Boost drop? have questions... (BLUE NRG)

I agree the second post was very well put.
My friend has a vr6turbo and when he ran a stock head if you rev the motor twice at idle there was enough psi to make the blow off valve sound.
With the bvh and the bov set to release at the same level he needs to rev it 3-4 times to build enough pressure for the bov to sound.
motor not bored but that added volume to the intake runner made a difference.
