I used a vacuum pump and connected is directly to my gauge to make sure it was not leaking...but if I start pumping and go to about 20 in/Hg it starts to fall slowly, indicating a small leak. It loses about 5 in/Hg every 15 sec or so...
Is this normal? Are boost gauges suppossed to leak a little? (i.e have some vacuum losses?)
Its a brand new stewart warner gauge, and the nut on the back is very tight, and there are no leaks in the vacuum pump.
