I have a 02 GTI 1.8t AWP, I have recently installed a boost gauge. Wonderful mod btw. In a fairly recent Car and Driver magizine article I remember reading that in 02' the boost was turned up to 11.8 PSI. So i fully expected to get 11.8 on the boost gauge. I got a solid 10. Stock, no chip yet. So what is it? is car and driver wrong...good possibility, they are wrong quite often. I dont think its my install because this made my third BG install to date. Or is that normal... 10 psi. i dont know it may be a dumb question. Did some searching just not satisfied with results.
