1. pay for the car, get the title, bill of sale, etc. fedexed to you.
2. get insurance on the car asap.
3. pick a carrier http://www.movingcars.com/nationwide/
4. arrange pick up and delivery with carrier and seller.
5. get as much documentation/pics on the car condition prior to shipping.
6. that's it!
FYI I used McNutt auto transport to ship a car from Texas to MA, it worked out OK, just took a lot longer than they told me (although I negotioated a cheap rate, so they leap-frogged their eway here).
DAS is also popular, but expensive.
I'm guessing it will be at least $1k to ship it that far. You might want to get a cheap 1-way air ticket and drive it back. If you do that you should go to your local DMV and get the plates, taxes, etc. so that you can bringthem with you when you pick it up.

Fly out there, and drive it back. Make a weekend of it. I live in Mass, and when I bought my Jetta, I flew to Chicago to get it. Pretty cool/fun experience. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
