when i get to about 3k rpms in second gear and up the engine starts bouncing unless i floor it. im a noob whith the 8v and dont know what is going on. any ideas?

Don't be using Platinum+4 spark plugs,

should have bought my vr... Id check your plugs , wires , motor mounts.
