if you're slamming on the brakes, you might feel something that feels like it's pushing up on your foot, which would be the ABS kicking in. just apply constant pressure. i haven't had that happen to me on dry, or even wet, roads, only on snow and ice. but if it's under normal pressure, i don't know what it could be. if you're under warranty, have the dealer check it out.
