Breaking the brakes in

What's the best way to break a new set of breaks in on my car? I just installed some ATE powerslot rotos, and some mintex pads (thanks Potterman's!!). But the only breakin advice I got was dont do any heavy breaking for 200 miles.
I have heard of doing like a dozen 60 to 40 runs, but I dont know.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I jsut got the same setup on my car. Drove it for about a week without any hard braking whatsoever, left a ton of following distance, didn't speed. After about 100 miles I was sure I was fine so I am back to "normal" driving again and they feel awesome! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Yes it worked, due to the fact that I had a VW Master Technician telling me to do that....
