Golf?

Did anyone else watch the British GT cup race that was on Speed channel this afternoon? It was sooo cool seeing all those great cars that we don't get to see over here duking it out. But they showed the little GTI 1.8t in with them, and it looked so funny. The thing looked like a minivan compared to all the low, sleek sports cars and GTs. The GTI wasn't in a different class either. I thought it was pretty cool, and I'm no VW guy. Discuss.

so how did the finish placing turn out? and that morgan is gross.

I had to leave the house, and when I did, one of the Mosler's had a huge lead. Barring a mechanical breakdown, or crash, I'm guessing it won.

im curious how the golf did. it is strange seeing it with the other cars.
yeah I just think the morgan looks bad, but other than that I have respect for it performance wise, and every other car running in the british cup

I don't think the GTI did too well. It was getting lapped.
as far as the morgan goes, I think it looks great. *shrugs*. Everyone's got their opinions.

Honestly it was one of the better GT race I've seen on Speed in a while. Beautiful machines too. Personally I'm getting a little sick of watching American GT races with nothing but Corvettes and 911s.
Last year there was a Morgan running in some of the Speed GT races, but you never see it on TV cause it was always at the back of the pack.
