wondering where to get pistons for a good price?? i am running a ams s/c kit etc. either stock pistons and new rings, or should i get JE pistons. if i go je would it an option be to go with 9:1 compression and put a mkIV head gasket in??? i was thinking that would achieve 9.5:1 compression. just an idea but i don't want to loose alot of power by dropping compression. will half a point cause a big power loss????

agreed JRC. the HP drop wouldn't be that significant with only a 1/2 to 1 pt on compression.
