I have posted a question about a thunk and extra bumpiness coming from the rear of my weitec TX'd 2001 1.8T. My bf told me that I may be hitting the bumpstops if they were not cut....I didn't know anyting about that, and my mechanic usually works on porsches so I don't know if he would know to cut them. Bf says that it is "just assumed" that he would.
my point" Who has the 30mm weitec kit (either or, I guess) and cuts their bumpstops. Should I check mine and get them cut???

what part of the underbody might my spring hit? It fits into a little space at the top and bottom that holds the 1st coil's worth---wouldnt it only occupy/touch that part of the car?
I think my rears might be too tight (light in the back, very stiff). I may wait a week. Then loosen the rears, and if that's still not enough, I may go to the GT kit. The noise makes me crazy~!
