First:
Headlight question, a local shop near me said they can put in HID's for 300$ in my 08 Jetta SE. Is it worth it, talking vision quality (glare, beam pattern etc.)
Wheel question:
Looking at the R8 wheels (18") sold by allor R us, he answered this question but i cannot find it anymore, What size tires would i need for those wheels, and how low could i go without any problems?
And my friend is telling me i will need camber kits if i go over a .5 inch drop. Care to help me out

I would say no on the first as putting HID on reflector lights is just not the right way to do it.
Second question, you need to tell us what size you want for the wheel. 17" 18" 19".

there are guys dropped 6" on here with no camber kits

Proper tire size for an 18" is 225/40/18, unless you're tucking/rubbing/poking.
