burning fuse driver side headlight issue

Lastnight i was driving and my headlight fuse burned (low beam). I put another one in and it did it again and again this morning. Cann the plug harness to the light bulb cause that or the headlight switch perhaps. I have not done anything to the car as its just a run of the mill basic GL. No custom stereo or anythign else.
