Hey guys,
Im gordon, im a newbie around here. Im looking to buy a gti for a project car, from what I know and have seen I would like a 1991 or 1992 GTI 16V 2.0 They seem like great cars, but what im wanting to do is get a turbo. Are turbos avl for the 2.0? are they easily avl? I live in Texas, USA. Do I need to get a 1.8 if I want to slap on a turbo? Any info much appreciated,

thanks very much for the quick reply, also this may seem stupid but is a "1992 vw gti 16v 2.0" the same as a golf 16v 2.0 gti ?
are there any other producers of turbos for the 2.0? Im looking to do engine work and run a higher PSI (around 15).
