C-clamp for a dual piston caliper?

686 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  ratboy
I'm swapping out all my pads on my R32, and while I have the tool for the rear, I have a c-clamp for the front that will only work on a single piston caliper. Do they make something like this for a dual piston caliper? Or what tool should I go purchase?
Thanks,

You could just use your old pad and c clamp or compression tool you already have. This way you can compress both pistons at the same time.

I'm just guessing here since I can't see your caliper but can you compress the pistons by leaving the inside pad on the caliper? Maybe a flat piece of steel across the pistons would do the trick?
You may have thought of this already, just trying to help.
