Got a quote from my local dealer for a 2002 Cabrio GLX with automatic at $21,500. Is that a good price? To me $19,900. sounds better, but they would not go with that. Perhaps if I try Gunther VW in Ft. Lauferdale in Florida (America's largest VW dealer).

Re: Cabrio pricing (sharc)

From what I hear, the Cabrio will go to an Auto only tranny for '03. Don't expect prices to drop when the NB Cabrio comes out since it will be in such high demand that many may opt for the Cabrio instead. Only time will tell.

Re: Cabrio pricing (VeeDubDriver)

Oh i see, so $21,500 is good? Dealer told me that 2002 was the last year. Do you think they'll do a special edition of the Cabrio to close out its run? Like what Mercedes did with their SL500's? Just wondering I should hold out for a better deal. Going to Gunther VW soon. Thanks!
