2004 Corvette Z06

'95 Cabrio was giving Mom some pretty dangerous problems (shut off on the freeway and on a busy road and wouldn't restart; sometimes wriggling engine wires got it to start and a couple part replacements didn't help -- dealer said it was a common problem and that the cluster was at fault

). They got a great deal on the 'vette, sooooo Dad now has his hotrod back (had a '64 Chevy as a kid and wished he never sold it 'cuz it's worth megabucks now) and Mom has satisfied her midlife crisis.

After 19 years driving a red Rabbit 'vert (which she now kinda regrets selling) and then a red Cabrio, Mom is officially a non-Dubber now.

Hell I'd sell a Cabrio for a Z06 any day of the week...and then buy a 90 Cabby and mod it to hell!

What's going to be interesting about this whole thing, is much like the rest of us, Mom hauled all kinds of stuff in her 'verts including a big dog with lots of fur. Now, there's no hauling of anything except 1 passenger! And it's black -- she was asking me all kinds of "how do you..." questions this weekend thanks to owning a black Jetta. Yep, it's gonna be interesting.
I may be sad about the VW going and may not care for the 'vettes, but am happy they got what they wanted (that's what matters; and the Z06 looks better than the other 'vette models). http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

funny I had a 95 Vette and sold it for a 95 GLX....but now are both gone and I now own an 86 Cabby....
