Funny you should ask - mine will actually be for sale soon.
The California Edition is a limited production of 500 '83 Wolfsburg Sciroccos offered by VW to commemorate the production of the 600,000th Scirocco - it came stock with the US version of the Kamei X-1 body kit, GTi snowflakes and only in Zermatt Silver (the only Scirocco to receive this color). They were sold only in California as far as I know. Check these out:

Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $2500-$3k. The body is very straight and the interior is pretty darn clean too - hell, the headliner has only one pin-sized blemish. I'm having it detailed within the next couple weeks.
Just replaced the headgasket. Bought it off a Soccer Mom who received it for her College Graduation present back in 1987!! Have all the maintenance records from her. Just selling to fund my mk1 project

I told myself (and my wife) it was the only mk2 I'd ever own after re-dsicovering mk1's! That's the only reason she let me have it !
