Cam Q

Thinking about buying a cam/chip for my 96 2.slow, the cam i'm looking at is the 268tt. Has anybody heard anything about these good or bad, also will the cam/chip keep my car smog legal?Thanks in advance.

In 1996 they switched to OBD II. They also switched to softer valve springs at the same time.
If your car is OBD I you can safely use the stock springs with that cam. If it is OBD II you might want to upgrade just to be on the safe side, particularly if you like to rev it up high a lot.
