I have a Lear amplifier from a 2014CC. I have it in a test setup but cannot get sound from the amp. It has CAN hi and CAN lo. Does it need these to work? is there a way around this? Thanks

I don't think there is any way around that because the can-bus does amplifier turn on and diagnostics.

No doubt. I opened it up hoping for a jumper, something, nothing. An amp that can only be turned on by a byte string.

I'm sure the can-bus section sends a signal to a traditional on off circuit but finding it IN the amp is vastly different than a pin connection on the outside of the amp.

looks like it has a busy processor chip in addition to the amplifier ICs. crazy
