The one I'm referring to is painted in the colors of the German flag.
Anybody know how this was painted? (i.e. what type of paint? paint shop or DIY?)

This is a black Jetta, not sure if it's the same one you're referring to... but this is by far the best example of this badgework that I've seen. This one looks CLEAN, wish I had thought of this idea, it looks sweet and very tasteful.

(I took this photo at H2O 4... the plates are from NJ, not sure if the owner is a Vortexer or not...)

Thats such a gorgeous badge, sumone should make these and sell them... i'de luv a bunch for all my dubs...
if you want one there is a guy selling a badge in the classified section but it does not have the german flag he said he made it from 2 M3 badges.... here you go ...
